The most basic, the most idealistic thing I can say about my work is that it provides a way to investigate, to learn, that it allows me to subjectively and selectively construct a universe of my own making. It provides a record of where I have been, what I have found along the way, at times, suggests a path to proceed along. It is practice that allows for the contemplation of the 'sublime', of things that are manifestly subtle and tenuous, affirming and beautiful. It is a way to examine reality by, to some extent, holding it at a distance.
